There are many ‘reasons’ why people are, or feel, overweight. Most medical books,
magazines and people refer to incorrect eating patterns, unhealthy foods, hormonal
imbalances etc. Millions are spent on various scientific studies to find ‘cures’
to help people who are overweight…
At Living It, we have a different understanding
of weight and being overweight – quite simply put, weight is a burden… and this burden
is all the emotional baggage that we carry. Overweight people generally have a deep-seated
need for protection so they literally pile on the weight to create a barrier between
themselves, life and other people.
All overweight and fat issues are as a result of unresolved feelings and emotions
that we bury deep inside ourselves (in our sub-conscious) and the way we choose to
assimilate each of the issues or situations that create the unresolved feelings and
emotions… Being fat and overweight has nothing to do with your genetics or DNA,
it has got everything to do with your choices in life.
Swallowing a handful of fat-blockers, fat-burners and appetite suppressants everyday

The program runs in a 4-week cycle, followed by an 8-week cycle if required. The
initial 4-week cycle comprises of four sessions – one per week. It is imperative
that you do each of these sessions. The first 4-week cycle is quite intense as we
spend a lot of time clearing out old baggage and creating new thought patterns.
During your first session we discuss your needs and wants and together we determine
the suggestions that will be used during your hypnotherapy session. This discussion
is followed with a hypnotherapy session in which we begin to resolve your unresolved
issues and suggest new thought patterns to your subconscious mind. We give you a
booklet which contains healthy eating guidelines, supplement suggestions, positive
affirmations, suggested reading and your progress charts. You are weighed and measured
so that we can chart your progress during the Living It Weight Reduction Program.
One week later, we assess your healing process and emphasise the suggested thought
patterns in your first session with another hypnotherapy session. You are weighed
and measured and your progress is charted in your booklet.
During your third session we re-define your new thought patterns and address any
remaining unresolved issues during hypnotherapy. You are weighed and measured and
your progress is charted in your booklet.
The fourth session comprises emphasising your new thought patterns and a beautiful
guided meditation during hypnotherapy. Again you are weighed and measured and your
progress is charted in your booklet.
By now, the new thought patterns will be a way of life for you and the changes to
your physical being and the quality of your life will be quite profound! If you

The 8-week cycle requires a session every two weeks - during these sessions we continue
to chart your progress. The hypnotherapy sessions are used to maintain the new thought
processes and continue your healing journey.
